In the beginning, there was 'Sanna, SK Style'. From Thursday, April 27th, 2000, until Sunday, July 1st, 2001, that's all there was -- that and the stories, all indexed directly from the main page. In May of 2001, I had gone through a 'rash' of page creation (the diary section, the HTML help section, etc), but nothing drastically new. Besides, to name a site after myself I thought was just slightly egotistical.

Then I got SannaSK.com, and things changed.

If naming a site after myself was egocentric, what about an entire domain name? I mean, site names change, but domain names are slightly more permanent.

Which is exactly why I got the .com I did. Site names change, but I won't. Sanna is here to stay. So is SannaSK.com. Whatever I call my site -- IrgendAnders will be here for about a year, maybe more, maybe less -- I will be doing this. Ego-whatever may it be, but hey, we're all biased. ^_^

July 2002 -- Year two of IA! Wow! To celebrate the anniversary, I decided it was time for a layout change. I kinda wanted to do green, but I couldn't figure out what color went well with green, and also that most greens on monitors are Not Very Pretty. But there are plenty of beautiful purples.

Humorously enough, the first font I clicked on, Viner Hand, I decided looked very nice, and exactly what I wanted. I even scrolled through all my fonts, and didn't find one I liked any better. So, it stuck.


Font used: Viner Hand ITC for the special graphics, with colors either the mildly darker bbbbee or the slightly ligher ddddff, and the occasional shade of very dark 000033 or mid-purple 5C5C8E (good for table borders). For the main text, 'Verdana, Arial, Chicago, Helvitica, sans serif' in in the ddddff. Links White and bbbbee.
